Social Media Disclaimer

 

Living Authentically Counselling as a business is active on social media.

 

• Active and former clients are welcome to follow our public business account (@queersocialworker), however please note that you may be compromising your privacy and confidentiality by engaging with our content in any way (as any engagement activity shows up publicly against your username/account name).

• If you do not wish to see our content on your social media platforms, you are welcome to block our pages.

• Any content that is posted about a "client" is hypothetical in nature and is not based on a client that our practitioners have worked with in the past or present.

• Living Authentically Counselling will not provide personal therapy over DM's or personal messages received via social media, and cannot guarantee the privacy of any information that you choose to share over a social media platform (as we have no control over how it is stored). All communication with Living Authentically Counselling should be facilitated through email (admin@livingauthenticallycounselling.com), phone (0480 725 428), or during a scheduled session with your practitioner. 

• Our practitioners are not allowed to engage with you on social media via their personal accounts (including dating apps), nor are they allowed to accept friend or follow requests due to professional and ethical boundaries in place. If a practitioner accidentally engages with you on social media unknowingly (eg. if you are using an online alias/unrecognisable username), please inform them as soon as possible. 

• If you choose to attempt to engage with any of our practitioners on their personal social media accounts (including dating apps), all engagement attempts will be declined and your practitioner will bring this up with you in your next scheduled session. 

• Repeated attempts to engage with our practitioners via their personal social media accounts (including dating apps) may result in the termination of professional services.
